We absolutely love welcoming students to Red Hot, and it seems the feeling’s mutual! This past week our restaurants have been brimming with happy students celebrating their exam results and enjoying the summer holidays.
Students get a 20% discount at Red Hot all year round, but as a special treat for those receiving their GCSE and A Level results we’ve upped this to 30%. All you need to do to redeem the discount is bring in your results slip on the day you receive those all-important marks.
That’s just what a whole host of A Level students did when they flooded in to our seven restaurants last Thursday to claim their special offer and celebrate the memorable day with friends. With hundreds of dishes to choose from and a huge variety of tempting mocktails, juices and shakes, it’s easy to see why Red Hot is top of the class. And, while our menus vary according to the time of day and restaurant you’re visiting, there’s always plenty to whet your appetite.
Are you and your friends looking to add a twist to your celebratory trip to Red Hot? Here’s our top 5 tips on mixing things up:
1) Do things backwards: Who says dessert should come after your main course? Why not start your meal with pudding and finish with a starter? Just don’t go too mad on the ice cream counter!
2) Go around the world: See if you can sample something from every single world cuisine during your visit. The first one of your friends to go all around the globe is the winner – now you just need to decide on the prize.
3) Try something new: Get everybody on your table to sample something they’ve never eaten before. Whether you’re squeamish about sushi or can’t handle a curry, now’s the time to test your taste buds and be bold.
4) Pick up some tips: Did you know our chefs make everything from scratch, on-site? You can watch them at our live cooking stations, whipping up fresh pasta, risotto, curry, stir fry and much more. Why not see if you can learn a thing or two by watching them in action?
5) Stick to desserts: Do you ever get to the end of your meal and wish you’d saved more space for dessert? Why not make your entire meal a sweet treat, starting with the chocolate fountain and moving on to pancakes before finishing with as many varieties of ice cream as you can handle.
